Protesting Doug Ford | Where The People Stand Up

Ontario Byelections

While the federal government has MPs representing the people of Canada, in a provincial jurisdiction, we have MPPs representing the people of that province. As noted below, each area of the government has different obligations.

The government of Ontario is responsible for the areas shown in the poster beside.

Do you find that your MPP isn’t fully representing you in these areas?

If you do, please seriously consider researching the candidates in your district before the next election.

It’s not fun, and it can be extremely boring, but you WILL make an educated decision and choose which candidate will represent you in the future. Based on every political system, in virtually every part of the world, you also need to make sure you are choosing a candidate that is reliable and as truthful as possible.

You don’t know you’ve made a bad decision until after living through the aftermath, but you may have the opportunity to learn from it.

Democracy is extremely important to every person in a country, and the transparency of a political official is critical to a healthy democracy. As citizens, we have an obligation to vote for the person who best represents us and to be our voice.

MPP elections are only 29 days, less than a month!

Taking the time to learn about your representative will be worth it, trust us!
